Food and Financial Assistance in Southwest Florida
Recent challenges have exposed greater food and financial needs within our community. We recognize the need for these services, and we know that many people do not know the resources exist. United Way of Collier County is an excellent resource for families and individuals who need help – even if they are above the poverty line.
Dial the 2-1-1 Line for Immediate Assistance
United Way of Collier County’s program has helped put countless individuals and families in touch with resources to help them with tax preparation, debt management issues, and securing healthy foods. We understand that it is daunting to ask for help, but 2-1-1 makes it easy. The 2-1-1 line can be used for assistance with rent and finding low-cost affordable housing. You can call the number if you are having trouble meeting your utility bills or affording food.
2-1-1 even supports job search assistance. You are not alone. Even families that are above the poverty line still struggle to meet their living requirements. It takes an income of $75,000 for a family of four to survive in Collier County, and more than 40 percent of families lie below that level. We can help. Services available in English and Spanish.
